Internship Overview:
This semester-long internship program is designed for business and communication majors with an interest in sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Interns will work closely with our leadership and sales teams to support client acquisition and brand development initiatives. The program is ideal for juniors and seniors at four-year institutions, with a special emphasis on candidates from HBCUs.
Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance will have the opportunity to continue with the company in a full-time role upon graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
Interns will support business and marketing operations through a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Sales Development:
Research potential clients and new market opportunities in the K-12 education sector.
Assist in generating and qualifying leads through outreach strategies (e.g., email campaigns, social media engagement, and direct communication).
Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Marketing & Communications:
Develop and execute marketing content and campaigns to promote the company’s services.
Assist with the management of social media accounts, newsletters, and website updates.
Monitor market trends and competitors to inform marketing strategies.
Client Relationship Management:Support the maintenance of client databases and CRM platforms.
Participate in meetings with clients and partners to gain firsthand experience in relationship management and contract negotiations.
Innovation & Strategy:Contribute ideas to improve sales and marketing processes.
Conduct research on emerging trends in educational technology and business development.
Qualifications:
We are seeking motivated students who are:
Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Passionate about education and business innovation.
Strong communicators, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Familiar with marketing tools and platforms (social media, CRM systems, etc.) is a plus.
Program Details:
Location: Hybrid (Remote work with occasional in-person meetings and events)
Hours: Flexible schedule of 10-15 hours per week (may vary based on school commitments)
Duration: One semester (approx. 12-15 weeks), with potential for extension or full-time employment
Compensation: Stipend and/or academic credit (as applicable per university policies)
